I get similar requests asking for link exchanges that describe my site as 'quite impressive' - a back-handed compliment if ever there was one. Presumably, as the internet gets bigger, the viability of this kind of rubbish, 'scattergun' approach to link-building is actually improving - with more sites come more gullible webmasters. Throw enough emails out there and some will stick.
